Fall is my favorite season so I have been eager to tablescape in autumnal hues!

If you follow my blog, you know I am a big fan of Hen House Linens. The patterns are so elegant and easy to mix and match. I love this new swatch for Fall called “Gracious Chocolate” with all the beautiful scrolling and the pineapple design symbolizing hospitality. You can purchase these linens online or at some local retailers (Seasons in Madison, NJ has a lovely collection and is where I go). http://www.henhouselinens.com/s_graciouschocolate.php

I thought it would be fun to introduce a pop of color so for the centerpiece I made an arrangement of orange cala lillies (from J&M Garden, Madison, NJ) with some white hydrangeas, red berries, and greens in a vintage Fenton milk glass vase.

The bouquet is flanked by a pair of Fenton milk glass candlesticks (Grand Bazaar Antiques, Mendham, NJ) with rust colored candles and mini pumpkins.

I chose milk glass serving pieces for contrast with the bold brown patterned linens. I recently found this beautiful Imperial milk glass sugar and creamer set while antiquing with my mother-in-law and husband at Main Street Antiques in Newark, Delaware.

I kept the place setting simple with my wedding china (Opal Innocence, Lenox), crystal stemware (Marquis by Waterford Allegra Platinum), and silver (Wallace Windsor Rose, 1948) which belonged to my husband’s grandmother. The brown, gold, and green beaded napkin rings are from a quaint shop called Everything But the Kitchen Sink in Hockessin, Delaware .

Warm & inviting….

Happy Pumpkin Picking to my fellow tablescapers!
