My husband and I went on a weekend getaway to Cape May, NJ. We enjoyed our stay at the historic Congress Hall (home of Sea Spa and the Blue Pig Tavern). Of course, I visited a few antique shops in search of treasures. If you are in the area, I recommend checking out:

Located in Victorian Cape May, it is where dealers, collectors and designers shop for fine antiques. TreeHouse Antiques was established in 2003. The welcoming restored yellow Victorian home and attached carriage house are laden with treasures. Twenty-three dealers from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia offer a wide variety of furniture, china, American Art Pottery, glassware, lighting, linens, jewelry, and vintage collectibles. It is open year-round.

What I found: silver-plated punch bowl ladel and a vintage crocheted tablecloth in excellent condition

West End Garage                                                                                                   484 Perry Street, Cape May, NJ (609) 770-8261

This antique market featuring shops and stalls with local art exhibits, antiques, collectibles, crafts, and fresh, locally produced food specialties.

What I found: vintage noritake tea set including creamer, sugar, 4 tea cups, and 4 saucers and Fenton silvercrest tidbit tray

Antiques Emporia
405 W. Perry Street, Cape May, NJ (609) 898-3332

Antiques Emporia, located in the heart of the antique district, is open 7 days a week year round featuring an Antique Co-op with more than 40 dealers. The Antique Emporia has a large collection of vintage clothing, jewelry, collectible tools, nautical items and a vast collection of glassware.

What I found: 8 vintage pressed glass champagne flutes-in green, yellow, and pink
