I just returned from Paris so my table is French-inspired this week.
I started with this vintage Provencal tablecloth from Maison Decor. I love the soft florals of pink, raspberry, and yellow.
I picked up the raspberry in the tablecloth with this antique ruby red Limoges set of dessert plates, cups, and saucers which I picked up in the in Le Marche aux Puces. The china was made by Raynaud Limoges and the pattern is “Conde”. The silver is Wallace Windsor Rose (1942) and belonged to my husband’s grandmother.
See my previous post about this special Limoges set and its history at https://www.reddoortabledecor.com/2012/06/17/ruby-red-limoges-from-avenue-de-lopera/.
For the centerpiece I chose of bouquet of hydrangeas punctuated with raspberry colored roses to coordinate iwth the china.
The bouquet is flanked by two despression glass candlestick pairs from Summit Antiques Center and the long tapers are from Creative Candles.
I purchased the Limoges porcelain set at Les Tables d’Eva at Mache aux Puces at Porte de Clignancourt- http://www.eva-antiquites.com/. I encourage you to check out her store and the market when you are treasure hunting in Paris.
